Perkins and Will Designs New Office for Brierley
Perkins and Will recently designed a new innovative office for customer loyalty and marketing firm Brierley. In search of a new workspace that would better reflect their commitment to customer service, Brierley engaged the firm to design a workplace that would embody their brand ethos and better serve both clients and staff. Perkins and Will's Dallas-based team led full design and furniture services, as well as interior graphic branding for the new office-ultimately delivering a space that supports Brierley's company culture and positions the firm for future growth.
Brierley wanted their new workspace to prioritize employee well-being through design. Additionally, they requested that a variety of workspace types be available for individual employees, as well as for breakout and brainstorm sessions-all in a warm, fun yet professional environment with an eclectic vibe. In addition to doubling the amount and variety of meeting spaces, the new office also provides employees access to building amenities including a tenant lounge, large conference center, gym, and structured parking. Perkins and Will's project team curated a welcoming, open workspace-ultimately outfitted with varied, modern furniture pieces, writable walls, and striking, graphic wallcoverings in key accent locations. Glass meeting rooms and office fronts with glass film graphics round out the design, to support the team's goal of cohesion and seamless workflow.
The nearly all-open office is complemented by an inviting color palette accented by gold tones and contrasting graphically patterned tile. The lobby is outfitted with a custom reception desk and eye-catching wall graphics that greet visitors as they walk in. Various sizes and styles of meeting rooms can be found throughout the office for seamless collaboration between teams. The 6th-floor break room is anchored by a custom neon sign designed by Brierley that reads 'Loyalty Lounge,' which both reflects the firm's role in its industry and speaks to the purpose of the space. The break area also offers a variety of seating types for employees, along with a kegerator and a space for all-hands social events with custom-stadium seating. Additional office amenities include hydration stations, a boardroom, phone rooms, IT Genius Bar, and a self-serve micro-market.
