A pioneer in the development of customer loyalty programs, Hal Brierley founded Brierley+Partners in 1985 and has led the company through more than two decades of successful growth. Graduating Harvard Business School in 1968, he co-founded and served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Epsilon Data Management, one of the nation's leading database marketing companies. In 1980, Hal was retained as the only outside consultant to work on the design of American Airlines AAdvantage®, the world's first frequent-flyer program. In 1982, he became Vice President of Sales and Advertising for Pan American World Airways, where he launched WorldPass®, Pan Am's frequent-traveler program. In 1983, he was named Senior Vice President of Marketing for Continental Airlines. Hal began his career in direct marketing more than 25 years ago and remains one of the most innovative and respected strategic thinkers in the field.

Since joining Brierley in January 2007, Jim has been instrumental in establishing new client relationships across the spectrum of B+P's CRM and loyalty services, as well as expanding the company's service offerings; most notably, the LoyaltyWare technology solution. Prior to Brierley, Jim spent over 20 years with EDS, an industry leader providing a broad portfolio of Business Process Management and Technology solutions. In his last position at EDS, Jim was responsible for Client Service Excellence, providing innovative solutions for major clients and ensuring client satisfaction. He also played an integral role in developing and leading EDS's client loyalty program. Earlier in his tenure with EDS, he served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Jim holds a degree in Business Administration, Finance, and Management Information Systems from State University of New York at Buffalo.

Bill has been leading Brierley+Partners' technology organization since January of 2001. As CTO his responsibilities span from technology architecture and product direction to client implementations and operational support. Bill has been instrumental in expanding the company's vision beyond customer loyalty solutions to also encompass broader CRM and data warehouse capabilities. The combined platform is now powering complex marketing strategies that capitalize upon having a single view of the customer; not only from a database perspective but also in terms of real-time customer data integration. Having participated in the successful adoption of international technology standards, Bill is a contributing author of publications focused on distributed computing architecture and holds several software design patents. Bill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.

Bill Dandy brings over 25 years of client-side consumer marketing and business transformation leadership to Brierley+Partners. He currently leads all of our Account Management Teams and our Los Angeles Creative Agency, as well as the Customer Insights and Innovation Team. Prior to joining Brierley, Bill held C-level marketing positions at iconic brands like Dick's Sporting Goods, JoAnn's, Michaels, Famous Footwear and Borders. His cross-functional background has included key leadership roles ranging from Chief Marketing Officer to executive level positions in Store Operations, Merchandising and Finance. He has directed large in-house marketing organizations and major advertising agencies throughout his career. Bill has worked for both private and public companies with revenues up to $3 billion. His most recent experiences have been focused on driving rapid growth or turnarounds by leveraging consumer knowledge to strategically refine business models and brand architecture for high profile companies.
Bill has served on the Boards of the Global Retail Marketing Association and the David Miller Center for Retail Studies at the University of Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from San Jose State University.

A recognized leader in Customer Relationship Management, Ben joined Brierley+Partners in 1990. His career experience also includes six years as Senior Vice President, Marketing at Rapp Collins Worldwide and 12 years at Continental Airlines, where he held various senior marketing and advertising positions. In 1982, Ben supervised the development of the travel industry's first program designed to reward customers for their complete travel experience, spanning air travel, hotels and car rentals. Throughout his career, he has been a leader in the development and implementation of numerous CRM and customer loyalty initiatives in industries as diverse as health care, sports, travel, retail, and cargo. Ben is a graduate of the University of Houston School of Business.

Amy has dedicated her career to direct, database and loyalty marketing. In her 16 years of client and agency experience, she's created, managed, and enhanced CRM programs for Procter & Gamble, Unilever, AT&T, Comcast, and EDS. At Brierley, she is responsible for strategic account planning for the agency's clients, including American Eagle Outfitters and Bloomingdale's. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Clarkson University and an MBA from the University of Texas, Dallas.

Billy, a veteran retailer and pioneer in retail loyalty programs, joined Brierley+Partners in 2000 to lead the firm's expanding retail practice. Prior to joining Brierley, he served as Vice President, Marketing and Customer Programs for Neiman Marcus, meeting with great success in promoting the unique and highly recognizable brand. During his 36-year career at Neiman Marcus, Billy was responsible for the development and implementation of InCircle and NM Gold, programs which pioneered the concept of customer loyalty within the retail industry. He also managed the Neiman Marcus customer database and credit card marketing efforts. As part of his contributions at Neiman Marcus, Billy created the first electronic, prepaid gift card—a concept that remains widely used throughout the retail industry today.

Gayle leads the firm's travel and financial services practice. Well-versed in the range of marketing disciplines, Gayle has extensive global experience on both the corporate and agency side in developed and emerging markets. She is widely recognized as one of the leading authorities on loyalty and relationship management. Most recently Gayle was Chief Marketing Officer at Frontier Communications, where she led the rebranding architecture in preparation for a major acquisition. Prior to Frontier Gayle was Senior Vice President of global premium products at MasterCard. Gayle provided thought leadership and consulting to major card issuers acquiring and retaining high net worth customers. She also spent three years at Merrill Lynch leading the debit/credit card business. Gayle has held global marketing positions with Northwest Airlines in Tokyo, as well as with Delta Air Lines and United Airlines in the U.S. At United Gayle led their worldwide marketing programs, including the Mileage Plus program, Red Carpet Clubs, Silver Wings and United's co-branded credit card programs. During this period she led the transformation of Mileage Plus from an incentive promotion into a highly successful and profitable relationship marketing program.
Gayle was named one of the top 25 Marketing Women to Watch by Advertising Age in 1997. She was named one of the top Women in Travel by Travel Agent Magazine in 1997 and 1998.

One of Brierley+Partners' first employees, Chuck joined the company in 1986 and is responsible for its daily accounting functions and financial reporting. Prior to joining Brierley, Chuck was in the oil and gas industry and served as Vice President of Finance for two exploration and production companies, Crawford Energy and GNC Energy, as well as Controller for Vickers Petroleum, a petroleum marketing and refining company. Chuck holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of North Texas and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Jim started his career at Brierley+Partners over 23 years ago, helping open the L.A. office. During that time he led the art direction and design for the launch of Hilton HHonors as well as Hertz #1 Club Gold. Presently Jim oversees our global creative services, art direction, design, interactive and production art studio to ensure consistency across all customer engagements. During his impressive career Jim has gained a national reputation for his achievements. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including ECHOs, Caples, Pioneers, Tempos, AAF Best in the West, Telly and American Catalog Gold awards. A graduate from the American Academy of Art, Jim began his career at Stone & Adler in Chicago and then Wunderman West in Los Angeles.

Jill joined Brierley+Partners in 1991. Over the years, virtually all of Brierley's clients have benefited from her creative leadership, writing talent, and strategic focus: Bloomingdale's, Hilton, Hertz, JCPenney, MSN, Sony, and UPS among them. A native of the Big Apple, Jill started her career at William Esty Advertising in New York, creating national print and TV campaigns for Colgate-Palmolive, Nabisco, and Union Carbide. She next moved to L.A. to work for MPI, a subsidiary of United Airlines, and had creative responsibility for the Westin Hotels Premier and United Airlines Mileage Plus programs. The recipient of numerous creative awards, including ECHOs, Caples, Pioneers, Lulus, Tempos, and an Academy of American Poets Prize, Jill has also been featured in industry publications for her breakthrough creative. Jill holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with high distinction from the University of Rochester.

Laith leads the L.A. team focused on strategic customer communications and innovative solutions for Bloomingdale's, JCPenney, and Men's Wearhouse. He is also leading Brierley's CRM and loyalty efforts in the health care and entertainment industries. Laith spent 3½ years at Brierley in Dallas, and was responsible for the development and execution of client program strategies for American Eagle Outfitters, Bloomingdale's, Borders, Chico's, Nike, and Westfield. In 2007, he briefly left B+P for a stint at Epsilon, where he was responsible for the CRM and loyalty strategies for Eddie Bauer, Helzberg Diamonds, and Midas. He also spent six years at Neiman Marcus, starting in the buying offices, then moving on to lead the InCircle program and partnership marketing efforts. Laith holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.

Don earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from The Florida State University (with concentrations in program evaluation, campaign management, and statistics) and spent 11 years in academia (Rice University, Cornell College, and the University of North Texas) teaching statistics and policy evaluation. Prior to joining B+P, he was a Research Director for Dallas County, TX, in charge of database modeling, data mining, and program reporting. He has authored several journal articles and a full-length book ("Judicial and Legislative Innovation", 2004). At Brierley, Don specializes in building econometric models and creating segmentation schemes, with an emphasis on marrying customer engagement data (web analytics, social media, communications response) to shopping and purchasing patterns. His current client list includes American Eagle Outfitters, Hilton Worldwide, Hertz, Express, Men's Wearhouse, and Build-A-Bear Workshop. An avid theater aficionado, Don was the 1989 Saax Bradbury/Amos Abrams Fellow to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, where he studied classical acting; his passion for presentation informs his marketing data analytics, where he eschews the traditional view in favor of a dynamic storytelling model that brings numbers to life through contextualization and the generation of actionable insights.

Robert joined Brierley+Partners in 1999 and has almost 17 years of application development and technology operations experience. During his time at B+P, he has developed, implemented, and supported CRM and loyalty programs for a wide range of clients. As the company's senior technology operations officer, he manages a large and diverse team of technology professionals based in three B+P offices. Robert has worked with a number of Fortune 500 clients, including JCPenney, Sony, Borders, United States Postal Service, Goldman Sachs, United Airlines, DynCorp, and Nokia, both leading and developing complex technology solutions to support their marketing functions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Texas, Arlington and an MBA from the University of Texas, Dallas.

Waqar Sadiq joined Brierley+Partners' technology organization in 2008 and leads the development of LoyaltyWare product as well as Loyalty implementations. Waqar has over 24 years of experience in software development, holds 10 software design patents in the area of distributed computing and has published two books on distributed computing and business process management. Waqar has worked in software product companies as well as IT consulting companies, giving him a broad range of experience in all aspects of software engineering. Under his leadership, LoyaltyWare has grown as a product to its current form and is now the underlying platform for building state-of-the-art loyalty and CRM programs. Waqar earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University.

Over the years John has managed client relationships with such brands as Blockbuster, Borders, GameStop, Godiva, Hard Rock, Musicland, Neiman Marcus, Nokia, and LSG Sky Chefs, in addition to many other key agency clients. John graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Dallas.

As a Marketing Manager with Field Publications, Catherine managed marketing activities for the children's classroom newspaper, "My Weekly Reader". Catherine holds an MBA in Marketing and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Irvine.

Tony joined Brierley in 2011. He is a seasoned professional, with more than 25 years on both the agency and client side – focusing on CRM, direct and database marketing. As Managing Director of our London office he is responsible for senior account leadership, new business development, sales, prospect planning, and office management. Prior to joining Brierley, he was a CRM consultant at OgilvyOne, working with their British Airways, UPS and British Telecom clients. Before that, Tony was Head of CRM Marketing and Operations at Orange/T-Mobile for 10 years. His agency experience has included various positions – Client Services Director, Senior Account Manager and others – for high-profile companies, including WWAV Rapp Collins, Saatchi & Saatchi, Euro RSCG, and Taylor Nelson Sofres. Tony is a graduate of Sunderland University in the UK, and earned his BA in Business Studies with a specialization in Marketing.
